Original 1989 BMW E34 M5 in outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition. The car has the very disable Diamantschwarz metallic (181) exterior color and a sunroof. New brakes and exhaust system (original included in the sale) and restored wheels with new tires were recently installed.
The car original 3.6-liter engine producing 315 brake horsepower from the factory was replaced around the 90,000 kilometers on the odometer with the more powerful and newer 3.8-liter S36B38 engine making 340 brake horsepower. Danish car from new.
The E34 M5 was the last of the hand-build M5 and this particular one was completed on July 13, 1989, at the factory in Garching. All E34 M5 was custom ordered and while the chassis and paint were done at the BMW factory in Dingolfing, the final assembly taking place in Garching, a process that took on average 14 days.
The car arrived at the ordering BMW Import in the city of Kolding, Denmark and the car was registered to the new owner on August 28, 1989.
