This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC is said to have been sold new in Manhattan and was acquired by the seller in 2019, reportedly from the estate of a friend who was its second owner. The car is finished in Walnut Brown over a Palomino leather interior, and power is from a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, a sunroof, and a period Becker stereo. This C107 shows 32k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit.
The car is finished in Walnut Brown (479) and features fog lights, a power antenna, aftermarket polished stainless steel wheel arch trim, and North American-market bumpers and lighting.
Painted 14″ Bundt wheels wear General Altimax tires with 2018 date codes. Corrosion is noted on the lower left corner of the rear window, ahead of the right rear wheel, and in the driver’s door sill.
The cabin is trimmed in Palomino leather (234) with matching carpets and door panels as well as burl wood accents on the dash and center stack. Amenities include automatic climate control, electric windows, a power sliding sunroof, and a period Becker Mexico AM/FM cassette stereo.
