Very rare left-hand Morgan DropHead Coupe in perfect condition!
Morgan +4 DHC which only are produced in 430 examples and even less as left-hand drive. The car is a 100% restoration and in perfect condition and always been storage in heated and humidity-controlled room. The car is imported from US in 1995 and restored between 1995 and 1998. The car is driven less 1.000 miles/year.
The car is with the 2.0 l TR4 engine (100 hp). The chassis frame is with the new reinforcements and hot galvanized. Full leather cabin with adjustable seats and backrest - mounted without any visible
screw heads. Heater in oversize (original) with stepless regulation. Hood cover with feedthrough for seat belt. Custom made stainless steel luggage rack. Original stainless-steel exhaust system. Bonnet stay. All interior wood panels around windshields, doors, dashboards and wooden steering wheel are original and numbered. All contacts are original, and instruments have been refurbished in England. Six layer paint in Morgans original “Crissom red” - without any clear coat!. The original leather strap with double buckle over the bonnet is preserved and renovated. Fixed hood with 3 positions "middle position - DHC", and lockable rear window. Side windows made of chromed steel frame and easily removable.
All moving parts (except crankshaft) throughout the engine have been renewed or fully renovated.
Crankshaft, flywheel and coupling are balanced as one unit. The Moss gearbox has been refurbished including various ball bearings, needle bearings, sealings, etc., and also including new gear axle supplied by Morgan factory. New refurbished cooler - with extra expansion tank.
New "Gemmer" wheel-steering-house supplied by Morgan factory, and as an option
mounted with flexible safety steering column. Suction inlet to the two SU carburettors in stainless steel with KN filter. 4 original Morgan telescopic shock absorbers. New chrome and new bumpers (three-point roller parts - additional equipment). Electric cooling fan - supplemented with force control. Thermostatically controlled oil cooler. New original fabric wiring system supplied from Morgan factory. All wheel bearings renewed and complete brake system renewed. Disc brakes front wheels (USA model).
